Lets not turn this into a Liquified bashing session. They happen to be very good at what they do and very consistent might I add. Anyone who can out-last 7-12 major promoters in the course of 10+ years deserves to be at the top plain and simple. I am not saying they are the best promoter..just the most efficient corporation that has cornered a market here in Atlanta.
I was never in this for the $$$ and I guess that is where my frustration comes in. I have a very, very lucritive career as a finance director that has funded MaddHatter. My goal was to break even..or make a little bit If possible...but after continual losses, there is only so much one can do.
I do wish there was room for 2 solid promoters in this city, but it seems there is not. |

hagan i've never met you in person before, but i must still say that every one of your parties that i've attended have always been top notch and i've always heard such wonderful things about you from the TA crew... i wish you the best of luck in everything and in life...

| Thank all of you guys for the kind words. YOu all have supported Maddhatter with such intensity and we appreciate each and every one of you for the good times and the debauchery!!! I am truely sad to see this ending but understand why it's happening. I have enjoyed every moment that I have spent working with Maddhatter and we will see all of you guys at the shows and definitely down at conference!! Hagen you're like a brother to me man and you're trhe realest promoter that has ever graced this town. It's unfortunate that two top promoters can't both exist in this town. You guys are one of the nicest groups of people I have ever met and it has always put a smile on my face seeing you at our events. See you folks on the dancefloor!!! |

Anyone who was a fan of what we were doing in Atlanta, I ask you to come out to this show as a show of support and a farewell to MaddHatter.
You guys played a very important role in our events and promotions, and we appreciate it greatly. Your presence at our farewell event would mean a great deal to us. ;) |

Hagen, Corey and all of you involved with Maddhatter are outstanding individuals. You have thrown some of the best events in this town and I am sad to see this coming to an end. Hagen, thank you for your encouragement and support since starting Surface back in July. Its been a pleasure working with you at the Mark and I hope to see you out and about soon.
BTW - Congrats on your new place!!

So does this mean that there will be less of Seb Fontaine, JOOF, and Sander coming to the Mark???
I wouldn't even know The Mark existed if you guys hadn't brought me there again and again and it truly is my favorite venue in Atlanta!!! :toothless :toothless :toothless |

Unfortunately yes. I may facilitate a JOOF booking in Atlanta as John and I are good friends and he loves Atlanta...
Sander just got scooped back up by Liquified...so he is playing at Eleven 50 in March. |
