I just ordered my EFX 500 and I am wondering how it is hooked up to my current system: 2 Technics 1200M3Ds 2 Technics DZ1200s Pioneer DJM-600 I know it connects to the send and return... I guess my main question is that it appeared in the video that Zabiela made that the EFX500 was controlling the CDJ-1000s he was using. Is this right? Like, when he played around with the EFX500, his CDJs acted as they were controlled by slowing down and whatnot. I have noticed there is a control plug in the back of my DZ1200s. Is that what it is for? Max Thomson JZ simply made a loop from a 4/1 echo and then took the CD out of the player to demonstrate the EFX was playing the loop and that it could be modified from there with the adjacent wheel.
