so i'm sitting here with my acoustic guitar recording some riffs through my mic -->mixer -->computer
and i'm sitting there saving one and i could've sworn i heard someone talking
went and check that it wasn't some stupid ad on some page i was on, and i turned the volume to max on my speakers, and amongst the fuzz i could make out UMass's radio station 91.1fm
and after some messing around i realized that when i turned the mic switch on the mixer to mic off the noise/radio stopped
also note that during this whole thing the on/off switch on the mic itself was set to off

the sheilding in your mic cable is probably screwed...time for a new cable.

That is why there is sheilding in audio cables...to block out unwanted interferance such as radio waves.
If you wrap your cables too tightly, bend them too much..etc, the sheilding can seperate and break. Be gentle with audio cables. |

91.1 UMass amherst, pretty much the only radio station i listen to (when i do listen to the radio)
its just kinda a random assortment of , but sometimes in the evenings there's some good underground prog stuff
lotta the shows are just random as hell thoug
what HS did you go to out of curiosity?
cause like half my high school goes to UMass, but thats cause its like a mile from our high school :toothless |

hah my bad...its paperalwayswins2 now, updated the profile
one day AIM just randomly blocked me from signing on as paperalwayswins or my old sn, so i just made a new one
and i woulda switched back but it was kinda nice only having like 30 people on my buddy list that i talked to regularly and no one else
