need help with a trance or hard house kick?

what does this sound like during the kick?
you can hear it in bruno fergani stargate
i cant find a link to this mp3 but if you do a search and listen
to it at 0:05 and 0:18
the kick kind of changes but i cant describe it in production terms
if someone can just tell me what its called
and i can figure it out myself i dont need anyone to explain how to do it just what it is?
cause i noticed a lot of trance and hard house tunes use

| i only have radio edit of zombie nation, so i have to guess which part you mean... my guess is the part with the rim/rimshots (click click click, instead of boom boom boom), so its called a rim or rimshot, many samples available with rimshots... anyhow, i hope my guess was right otherwise let me know or post a sample... |

yeah i think your right its a much different sound of the kick and you always here it just before a major change like a synth, a drum roll,a melody ,a breakdown etc.
i will check for some samples of it thanks |

| It could be a High Pass Filter run on the kick to filter it in at the beginning, its done a lot in many EDM subgenres. |
