Why is it people associate all electronic music with techno and not trance? (pg. 3)

To answer the 'why', I'll personally say it's the medias. They mislead people with nonsensical 'techno,trance' cd compilations. I can see a lot of those on the tv commercials :D

ha! I wish I had the same success. I try so hard to teach the difference between say, house, techno or trance, then they hear a song on the radio and deliberately say: "Sooooo Tiesto is New Age??" :whip:
