i agree^^^ The Federer/Haas match final material!
CONGRATULATIONS TO FEDERER!
Im so happy for him! A legend in the making! WOW!
| quote: | piss-poor speech from Federer.
"I don't know what to say" so I'll cry instead.
|
Easier said than done Erratik.......Its obvious he was very overwhelmed by the win! If he keeps going the way he is playing, he could become the best player Tennis ever produced!!!
Credit goes to Bagdhatis for reaching the finals! He is a superstar now not only in his own country, but here as well!
The only thing that doesnt seem right to me is, is that Muresmo won the final on Saturday & on Sunday's Herald Sun front cover, there had no picture of her, instead it had a picture of Bagdhatis. Today on the front page of the newspaper- has a massive picture of Bagdhatis not Federer-who clearly & rightfully earned to have his picture there.
Wat the fuk!!!

lollllllll:haha:
Fair enough he beat some big players & reached the finals....but he didnt win the final & so rightfully doesnt deserve front page status.
And whats with the Greek fans who apparantly were chanting "Get the Turks out of Cyprus"..........when confronted, they said that they were chanting "Get the Turkish Troops out of Cyrpus".
Still thats bad enough....you're watching the tennis, shouldnt bring politics into it. How very idiotic! |

this guy is a machine, when his back is againts the wall, he turns it up that extra level which raiss his game far beyond anyones elses on the atp tour, this man will no doubt end up winning more grand slams than anyone else in history
and damn what a victory speech, thats how much it meant to him, thats the first bit of emotion any of us saw out of the fed express all tournament |

Damn straight, that is DISGUSTING that the Herald Sun didn't put a picture of the CHAMPION, Federer, on the FRONT page!

erm no.
He could match it with Federer stroke for stroke until the nerves kicked in and his leg chucked a spastic. You must have missed the first two sets. |

baghdatis played out of his skin in the first two sets, there is no way he could have kept that kind of thing up. he was making everything and hitting the line with every second shot, there is no way he could keep that kind of thing up. also he only beat federed 7-5 in the first set which just goes to show how ridiculous federer is if baghdatis was playing that well and could only just win the set.
and the cramping was just an excuse because he was getting smashed. |

hahah teflon your a numpty... getting smashed? have you ever played competitive sport in your life? You try play the amount of tennis at top pace these boys play in the space of 2 weeks...
Lets be honest here, bahgdatis won 6 matches to get to the final, and beat all his opponents...your only as good as the oppenents you face...federer is a champion, and lets not get carried away here, bahgdatis consistently was getting break point and 0-30 oppurtunities on his serve, so it wasnt as lobsided as it seemed... i would of loved to see the outcome if federer lost that 2nd set.
it was a good day for tennis and also a good day for cyprus, cause it proved to alot of people, that there is only one cyprus out there, and thats GREEK. |

what you call losing your serve for five straight games not getting smashed? losing the last two sets 6-0 and 6-2 not getting smashed?
if you think that is not getting smashed, then it is you that has not played competitive sport. i used to play top grade competition tennis so dont say i dont know anything about playing tennis let alone other sport.
it was close in the first two sets because baghdatis was playing ridiculous tennis well above his normal game. this is also why begic said that baghdatis plays inconsistent tennis.
baghdatis' father is turkish not greek, he also looks turkish not greek. so why are you saying he is greek? |
