| I liked FS at first, but the more I used the more I disliked it. It had alot of problems for me, and playing Live with it was unpredictable, I made the switch to SSL and love it. |

i currently have FS2 (waiting on a firewire card) but my experience with Traktor FS 1.1 was excellent.
i used it for over a year and it did not crash once and i mean NEVER! the only problem was if i did not stripe the mp3s then it would coz a "jitter" to the record playin when i loaded another track on the other deck. this was more a RAM issue than FS tho. |

HAHA good luck wit it mate. I bought FS 1.5 this summer and have used it a total of 2 hrs. If its not the ground loops ing up, its the software messing up...a good 400 bucks down the ter is what it was for me.
If you plan on just bedroom DJing then its alright, but playing live at a club I would def not reccommend it, and once you start wanting to find rare tracks and new releases at high bit-rate quality, you will need to buy vinyl in the end anyway rendering FS obsolete..:whip: |

Well for FS maybe, but I have SSL running on my powerbook, and no problems at all. It has never crashed or ed up while playing, either at home or live. Also, it's all a matter of opinion, I have no problem finding songs I like playing from websites like beatport, so it's really your choice wether or not it becomes 'obsolete' |
