Sorry if this is a repeat threat, I can't remember if anyone has talked about it yet. And I realize it should go in the review section, but I really only give a about what the Toronto people think. haha

So has anyone heard it? I picked it up earlier this morning. I have mixed reviews. You can't deny how progressive it is, that is for sure. When I first gave it a listen on my discman, I thought it was solid but I wasn't feeling it. Then I stuck it on my home stereo (and although not huge) I loved it. You really have to crank prog to really enjoy it. The bass line is soo much heavier in my opinion, slower but more "groovy".

The first cd is a huge climb into great prog tracks. Dropping bombs like Rapture (their remix) as well as a Dido track. The second cd is more banging, tracks that would kill in a club. THEY ARE SO DARK, I love it. However a part of me always thinks this would be a great cd to slap on during a dinner party, or while doing homework, not my fav trance to rock out too at the club.

Any opinions, or am I the only one not really listening to epic trance anymore? lol

I love Deep Dish and this GU is a testimoney to the fact that progressive house is now being appreaciate by more ppl. GU-21 kicks ass and I can't wait for them to come to TO so I can listen to them drop funk bombs once again.

GU021 is mostly progressive, but banging...and hansolo ur right, if u listen 2 it loud, it really rocks...most of ppl dont realize dat, coz they dont put it up loud...when i saw Nick Warren's little set in HMV, it was massive, da bass lines where in en incredible, it was just so groovy :)
i found GU021 dark, but not dat dark, especially CD2, da first couple of songs r really amazing, overall Deep Dish, showed wat there really r and maybe they can do more?
