I don't think there's such thing as Mexican house. Judging by the sample you posted, you're thinking of Latin house.
There are absolutely no Mexican elements in that sample or in Latin house in general. The genre is mostly derived from Puerto Rican/Cuban salsa, Dominican merengue and some Brazilian samba and batucada, but that could be considered Brazilian house on its own.
I recommend Masters at Work and anything Little Louie Vega. But look around for Latin house, there's a bunch of stuff out there, even if it's mostly crap. |
