I'm pretty sure crobar simply offered van dyk more money than made @ spirit could.
I don't think crobar itself has a better vibe than spirit- it just has better dj's, which in turn bring in a better crowd. If sasha played Spirit the vibe would be just as good as in crobar. It's not like the vibe at any club in the city is good anyway nowadays...
ps If van dyk wants a better vibe maybe he should go back to playing good music. |

| i'm glad he threw a good nye party, don't get me wrong i love paul van dyk, i grew up on his twilo sets from the late 90's... i just haven't heard anything from him worth a second of my time for a couple of years. |

WOW! I could not agree with you more. Avalon is a LOL! You cna say that again any-time. :D As much as I love to dance to Trance, I'd never go to Avalon even if it's free!. As a DJ, I'd not perform there, because of health hazards. I've been there only once and that was it. The only good thing about Avalon, is the bathroom - foyer DJ Christine Renee. She was doing it better then the main DJ, I can tell you.
I love PVD, and he is always my # 1. In fact, I got my mixing inspiration from him, and I've been mixing and playing since over a year now. ROXY is OK, I like Spirit better then Corbar of course. Ikon was ok, for NYE party. Many good DJ's like Tiesto, OakenFold et.c has performed there in Avalon, but I'd never go. I've not been in Roxy for a long time though. It's been a while an TRANCE event happened there.
Looking forward to see PVD in April.

They're working on the laser and lighting..tomorrow for tiesto there going to have a bunch of 3D televisions throughout all the rooms. a start for better visualizations. |
