Billabong asked me to start this thread in order to provide a place where people could share their ideas on drug use with specific emphasis on its use paired with music listening.

music is great withuot drugs

music appears to be better with drugs, but if the truth be told it's exactly the same, you just think it sounds better since all of your senses become more sensitive and easily pleased*

*personal past experience's from using MDMA.

music sounds great whilst being sober, but you should hear Oliver Lieb, for instance, while you're high or tripping on shrooms...quite an experience.

same goes for acid, but inasmuch as i've never tried it, i can't attest to that.

Yes, it's the same music whether you're on drugs or not but I think one sees more into the music if they're high...they in a way understand it and it gives the music more meaning. I often look for deeper meanings in lyrics and the song itself when I'm high.

I enjoy music sober but there's just something about hearing a great song when you're high... I truely believe that music and drugs were two things that are meant to go well together, one of the few positive aspects about drugs.

how is that possible if we are arguing w/ someone who has never combined the two?

personally I don't understand why drug discussions are seen as offensive to anybody, its not like you're actually in their presence while you're posting online
