Wrong.
The Lieberal Party is the party of the big corporations.
The Conservative Party is the party of small business, entreprenuers, and individuals (NOT special interests).
The NDP is the party beholden to the unions.

The only exception (the 31%) is that a couple of big banks gave to the Canadian Alliance, probably because of that party's support of bank mergers.
Otherwise Bay St., big business, and the Toronto-Quebec Axis support the Lieberals.

1) Just because you don't have a SIN card, doesn't mean you don't have a SIN.
2) Everybody else has to pay to get a passport (proof of citizenship) so why shouldn't she?
3) HRDC has made it more difficult to obtain government documents - in this age of terrorism one damn well hopes so.

hmm, funny how she didn't look into this before.
any sane person would have checked into things like this before hand. she still has a social insurance number. i haven't had a card for a long time. i just know my number. and you can have a SIN without being a citizen.
in terms of the levels of government, she is a canadian citizen on all levels except HRDC where they need an extra piece of ID. if everyone needs it then everyone needs it, no big deal. |
