does anyone volunteer on a regular basis? i use to quiet a bit in high school but now that i'm taking a few less classes this semester and my career is finally headed in the right direction i'd like to get back into it. I've thought about helping some inner-city kids w/ homework(a police run operation), but i'm curious on some more ideas.
so what do you guys do? or what have you done? |

| I do christmas baskets at the local Elk's lodge every christmas. Other than that, I really don't do much volunteering. |

| I used to volunteer at the boys and girls club, but that place was bad ass. The only place i know where a $12 membership per year will take to atlanta, SF, and other cities for free. Plane tickets, room, food, entertaiment all included. Oh and they got me out of school lots of time. I have to admit the boys and girls club is a great place and i'm sure that i became a better person because of it. It really kept me out of trouble and i got to meet alot of people in high places because of it. I'm not too much into volunteer work anymore, but i do plan to donate around $3,000 this year. They helped me alot, it's time i start to pay them back. |
