mp3 mixing soundcard..which one?

which one is the best? i am thinking about traktor/ableton/mixmeister
is the AudioTrak Maya 44 USB any good?
it has to be a usb card for a laptop |

why need a new card if in the laptop is a soundcard?
Tell what u wanna do. Mixmeister doesnt support 2 cards ( or 1 card with 2 outputs ) |

i want to use an external mixer along with a program
i guess i need either a souncard with 2 outputs (like the maya) or 2 cards.

Ok this time. I have Sound Blaster Live! 5.1 & Traktor v2.
Works fine for me. A friend of mine have Sound Blaster Audigy 5.1 and its working with this soundcard too.

If you want to save money... Get an Imic(like the apple stuff, $25 I think) it is PC compatible. It is a small USB soundcard with one output and one input. I have had way too much trouble with every program except Myxoft DSS DJ. It isn't the most feature rich program, but it's pretty stable and is the most flexible in regards to connection set ups. The options are one soundcard with SDIO, one soundcard for monitor and one for main, one soundcard for 1 and one soundcard for 2 for connecting an external mixer. Every other program unless you have a soundblaster Audigy or Exitgy( $75 or up)
