The first Gallery event of the month is a ‘Producer Special’ featuring some of the most prominent Producers from around the globe. These guys are consistently at the very top of their game, as well as being rather handy behind the decks too. The main room showcases a multitude of talent with Americans Gabriel & Dresden and Jon Creamer & Stephane K leading the way. Gabriel & Dresden came to prominence with the worldwide smash ‘When the Rush Comes’ and their recent album ‘Bloom’. Prior to that they reached No.1 on the US Billboard charts with a number of tracks, before exploding onto the UK scene in 2003 when they made their UK debut at The Gallery. Creamer & K have also set the world alight with their production, but they are possibly best known for their Bedrock compilations. They are more on the dark and progressive tip, than G&D and will follow on where they left off at the Gallery last year, by setting the night on fire early on. Completing this hefty main room billing will be two of the trance scene’s most beloved stars - Smith & Pledger and Riley & Durrant. Last year Smith & Pledger released a number of tracks on Anjunabeats to huge success and look set to beat that feat in 2005 as the likes of Oakenfold and Armin Van Buuren continue to champion their sound. Riley & Durrant on the other hand have a Gatecrasher residency to their name, plus Andi Durrant has his own show on Galaxy Radio. This week’s warm up is provided by North London party specialists - Refresh DJs.

The backroom continues The Gallery’s Producers theme, with a meaty selection of its own. Nic Fanciulli’s Fandango party will be taking you on a deeper, more underground route with new Fandango recruit Demi, stepping into Nic’s shoes. The Deeper Substance resident and favourite of Mr’s Tong & Tenaglia no less will be joined by the masterful Circulation, the production pairing famed for naming their tracks after various colours!! Alex McCulloch, one half of Manchester production outfit, Sha Funkers, a recent signing to Nic Fanciulli’s Saved Records camp adds some acid-house beats late on. Look out for their re-working of David Bowie’s ‘Let Dance’ later on this year. Mongo Bongo’s superb resident Marcel Kane gets the party jumping on.
