To introduce our site http://www.dirtydisco.net dedicated trance and house station launching in march 2005 direct from uk london we are looking for djs from around the world and will be able to offer you a platform to get your mixes reviewed by our listeners as soon as we launch...we differ as we are trying to bring in new talent rather than concentrating on the ones that have already made it and hopefully over time some fresh talent will emerge
Its easy to send us your demos as we have a PO box on the site
we are starting a fresh DJ ranking site just for djs at http://www.top100dj.net the site is still being contsructed but the forum is online and you can register your dJ name.
All mixes must be 60 minutes long
site admin I will put a link to you on the links page and hopefully you can link back to us the page your link is on is
http://www.dirtydisco.net/links.htm
thanks
Jr

Wow, please tell me that's not the site you plan to launch with?
It looks like the entire GUI was made in MS Paint.
You are gonna have a really hard time keeping pace with anything with a site like that. |

thanks for the info , I have firefox aswell and that displays it ok allthough there are some minor differences such as every hyperlink is underlined and it is not when we author the site, the trouble is that 96-97 % of all visits to any site are done in IE6 and at at a resolution of 1024 x 768 I get these stats of the server that dirtydisco runs of.........we are having some professional logos made at the moment for all our domains and once we are where we need to be we will more than likley put a css site up that will keep everyone happy and some of the pictures that are on the site have been cut down in file size thats whay you may be seeing artifacts 2 reasons for this speed of the site loading and bandwith issues .
but rest assured as soon as we are broadcasting all pictures and logos will be displayed at proper resolution
have a look at the site in IE6 to see how is supposed to look

Wow, that's an awful looking site.
If you're too lazy to make it Mozilla compatible, I'm too lazy to check it with IE6. |
