It just seems to me that this music is dying and i don't know why. As u know i love this music and i started to beleive it was going to work, but after 18 months of it and just about going broke trying, i finally give up on it, and doing much better.....What i did notice was that most patrons was kool as hell, but if you piss one off and he or she was popular and you guy's followed the train not knowing what the really happened. I see u guy's doing the same to the ETERNAL and thats a shame because you guy's talk about supporting each other, but what you really mean is supporting the dj. In reality by you supporting the DJ is great but thats not really what keeps a club open, thats a part of it , but coming out to that venue and not caring who is playing and having fun thats what will make it.... Tere's a lot more to it, but this is a star.

I see where you're coming from, but this crowd is very loyal. Honestly, how many people in a Rap crowd care about who is spinning? I can guarantee you not many.

What it boils down to is one crowd is musically driven, where the other is driven by alcohol, sex, and other things. As a club owner, you cater to these people by having shot specials, lingerie and wet t-shirt contests, and money giveaways. All our crowd asks for is respected music, DJs, and good vibes. As a club owner, I would prefer the latter as an EDM crowd is lower maintenance than its Julio counterparts. All you have to do is keep your DJs and crowd happy and they will give back to you tenfold. The main problem with most clubs is they lack consistency. One week you have good music, and the next week you have different things. You can't build a fanbase with that.

Eternal has fixed a lot of its issues and Fridays and Saturdays are creating a buzz. People in the underground community actually tell each other to come out and support. We're forming a foundation for what our scene should have. Good music with no egos, drama, or crew politics. DJs and promoters working for the DJs. We have to support each other because no one else will.

GOOD POINT
its also a pain in the ass when you alway's have to keep on booking dj's that are known every week and spend thousand of dollars on flyers and man labor to distribute them. As a cost factor only (there is no comparison.)

As you know Octane.....you out of all the dj's that has played in my place (154) is one of the the only ones that i have a lot of respect for. 90% of the dj's that has played at my location sucked as faar as knowing what it took to make the night a good one for the books. Not only u have to know your music but you must read the crowd nad not your agenda for that one hour you play, and that's where a lot of the problem whith this music.
DJ_Octane
agreed.

You're one of the few club owners I have massive respect for. I appreciate you letting us come out and learn how to play on a good sound system. Some DJs are primadonnas and don't deserve a lot of what they ask for...in my opinion the main problem even before the needle drops. I'm just grateful to be in the company of so many talented Djs that are willing to put back into the scene what they receive from it.

...we still need to have that beer.
