Ok... I just picked up a Canon Digital Rebel and im DYING to try it out on some sweet event. I figured next weekends Johan show would be a great place. But at the same time I dont want to inhibit my inherant desire to get my boogie on. Opinions? If i dont bring it, im stuck with my 1MP Olympus point-and-shoot POS.

I used to be all into cameras and photography but it was too much of a hassle to bring stuff in your pants and junk. Coat check tho... good idea heh.

Very cool. Was there for the first johan but I didnt remeber a coat check. So long as things go okay I will probably bring it.

Yeah...it still inhibits you from enjoying the set...well at least for me because I'm picky about setting up shots...but I like having cool pics to share afterwards... :D

Just hoping heaven will use some for their flyers...fingers crossed :D :D

I sweat like ballz marie so that always prevents me from taking it. Luckily, there is another guy in our crew that takes pics...

It's always sweet to bring your camera with you - the bummer is that some places don't offer bag checks to go along with coat checks. I know Ruby Skye only checks coats, for example, so you have to keep not just the camera with you (such as an SLR), but the bag to go with it.

I'm guessing its smart to bring your camera bag so you can give them that...not just the camera on its own.

I hope I'll have my camera by tomorrow...but Samy's still hasnt called...
