Bumping

I've been driving my kid's car around a few days with 1400w power instead of my usual Ranger 4x4 with 510w. More bump, but I'm about inured to it. So how much bump really bothers other drivers? The one I'm driving now could shake the grid square, but I'm trying to keep it down. I just loose reality since I listen to so much power at home and in the vehicles. How can I tell when I'm bumping too much?
:wtf:

Never too much when driving. If it bothers anyone, they don't have to drive right beside you.
OTOH, have courtesy to turn it down if you're in a residential late night or early morn.
I guess?:p |

I can't do it outside my house, since my kids got their band and wailing. Heard the comment about music, and I play Trance. Kid plays Gansta . Maybe I can go to a park and walk away from the vehicle and see how far I can go before I feel the bump. But prob is bump is normal to me, so reckon I need an outsider to judge it which is about what I figured. I you not, my hearing is going to these days and I crank pretty damn loud to make up the difference. What I like about the bump is that I can f*cking feel it. It feels good too.

| I usually turn it down at stoplights pretty much because although it sounds good in my car, I know all you can hear outside is my trunk rattling which is a pretty annoying sound. People really do go overboard with their systems though, alls you really need is 10's or 12's and a decent amplifier. If you have something like a civic and you have 2 15's with 1000+ watts, you're just going to rattle the out of the car and it won't even sound good, at least put some dynamat in the car but most people are too lazy to do that. But then again thats what a lot of people are into nowadays...seeing how much they can rattle their cars. |

| This bothers me when the bumper appears to be a child whose system was purchased with their parent's money. It's one thing to buy a huge system with your own earnings, but another to have your parents fund your "coolness" (its arguable that an impressive stereo system helps this, as well as your mating ability). I feel this creates a society of eternal children who are dependant on handouts and "get out of jail free" cards; not a society of responsible and self-sufficient adults. |
