1st Big Gig

Ok, For past 2 yrs I have played ty spots where people think trance is .
For the 1st Time i scored a big gig on the Northside of Chicago in Wrigglyville (Which is a block away from WriggleyFiled *cubs*)
So I am in a good neighborhood. I will be mixing from 9pm to 2am (The longest I have ever mix in front of people is like an Hour)
How should I prepare for this gig?
Also I am looking for All Dj's to post a really solid opening track... I need something good to get the people moving. |

Hip-Hop
Trance
Techno
House
Progressive
Whatever....
I playing the whole night And its a party so.... |

Its a safe bet to start out with a house or a prog track.
Something slow cause ur starting ur set at around 9..which is very early.. |

| Yea I don't think you could keep a high energy set for five hours, so start with slower tunes then build up, just if people start to look a bit bored, maybe increase the energy a bit??? I don't really know what I'm talking about, but just a suggestion :/ |

| no that's a good point. don't start with trance if you're gonna be all on on you're own. definetly start with house or prog then get a little harder/faster. maybe the last 2-3 hrs should be trance. |

no no no nono no i got it...this will definetly get heads rolling. make sure you play any or all of these 3 tracks during the night
