Hello Everyone, this is Walter Rosati and yes i am a partner in Republik.
The pictures were taken of our small room called Vision by a trigger happy friend by the name of Duro. I will get him to take a few of the main room when we are finished rigging the lighting, otherwise all you will see a bunch of people working on some brilliant decor.
The capacity of Republik is approx 1500+ and is split into three rooms: Republik, Vision and the DSR. We have not announced an opening date yet but im very happy to hear a great buzz on the street and on Tranceaddict. With so many clubs doing the same thing, Hip Hop / RnB / Top 40, we're happy to be a little different and join the few venues that are play EDM. We will be open late so we will have a seperate room playing everything from Urban to funky house to trance.
In response to some PMs that came in we decided to custom engineer the audio system to the room. We were not completely happy with the off the shelf product available on the market as each room has its unique attributes. So we built a rigging specifically for the main room. As a whole Republik has just over $1 million in sound and lighting. The main room holds about 1000+ with 28 foot ceilings and has over 48 moving heads, rotating plasmas, lazers, etc, etc....
We will support the TA crowd and i hope you will support us. An official announcement will come out over the next few weeks on opening details.
