Help with ipod!! Plz

Ok, i've just got myself a 4th gen apple ipod, & am looking to get it up & running. My bro has had a 3rd gen ipod now for a number of months & has been using our home cpu to transfer music to it. My problem/worry is that i don't know wot version of itunes he has currently installed & don't know wot effect installing the software from my new ipod will av!! Can ne1 give me any advice on using 1 cpu for 2 ipods?? Will that mean that everything he has in his library i will av to store on my ipod & vice versa?? Is there neway of both of us having 2 separate libraries?? Hope u's know wot i mean cos i can imagine it may be a little confusing from wot i wrote above, but i'm finding it hard to put into words exactly wot i mean!! Any advice will be appreciated.

| in I tunes there is an option to manually select what to upload to your ipod. |

| I guess you could make 2 playlists. 1 for each of you, and treat those playlists like they were two seperate libraries. Then just disable auto updating and it should work fine. |

Yeah, but sony makes very nice audio products. Especially with the new MW-HD3, pwns the iPod like the courts pwned martha stewart. |

the sound quality is very good
its just not a flat eq
the built quality is poor i agree.. but i think there is a level up from the 700's (they are dark grey) with re inforced hinges if im not mistaken? |
