Anybody see anything wrong with the photo below?
Be a good TA CSI without cheating by going to the source of the photo, tell me what you think...
An Iraqi boy runs past a car just as it explodes in front of al-Nahdha High School which was scheduled to be used as a voting centre in Baghdad, January 28, 2005. May I suggest looking diagnal about 1/4" up and left for one clue... |

| Hmm, I think I saw a similar video where the kid was walking by and the car blew up and everybody started to run away. Yeah, it's wierd that the headlight is on, but maybe it's the light from the explosion. Or perhaps the explosion still hasn't reached the battery and electric systems of the car...if the explosive was in the back of the car, it is possible that it's burning up while the lights are still on. Just guessing though. |

Also, sharpening the picture reveals heavy pixelation around the boy. It's likely that he was photchopped into the scene.

| I believe the problem is that the boy's shadow goes in one direction, while the shadow of the car is going in the other direction. Since there is only 1 sun, I would sport a guess that either the car or the running man have been shopped in. Additionally, if that car has exploded, I find it highly unbelievable that the headlights would still work. |

The license plate is North American.
Iraq has longer rectangular plates, of the european variant. I'm also doubtful Iraq has white plates.
Although Trancer-X sharpend image doesn't show pixelation of the car, to me it looks like there is an explosion and both the kid and the car were cropped into it. |
