The way I do it --->
Pluged to my mixer (Master out 1) <--- 1/4 jack adapter<--RCA to minijack ---> Powerbookg4 running SpinDoctor.
Somehow the sound quality it's not the best, it was better with my old mixer "Behringer 300"
What Am I doing wrong ? |

make sure that the gain or master isnt turned up all the way and the other is very low. try to make them both about the same level without the mixer clipping too much.

uhh i have a pcv 275..maybe the same thing?? and I record on my mac. The plugging is right as I do the same, but I use Sound Studio to record and have no problems. check the input level on the mac.. there should be an option to see input levels in spin doctor and also check the output levels on the mixer..
I don't about spin doctor but I was using another program before and the bass would crackle, but now I have no probs with Sound Studio. |

What do you think about Sound Studio? |

Sound Studio is good. The only thing is that it has crashed on me quite a few times for no apparent reason, but otherwise its very good. |

first port of call would be your input settings. first of all, you haven't plugged it into the mic slot on the computer have you? if so, don't. you need a sound card with a line input.
check input levels using your computer's software, and check the mixer's output levels to double check it ain't in the red. |
