Nice piano track (non-trance)

I really like radiohead, so generally i'd be against a remake of any of their tracks but I've just discovered jazz pianist Brad Mehldau's version of Radiohead's Paranoid Android... I'm liking it. You can hear a (live?) version of it here:

http://www.kset.org/vertical/mp3/99...d%20Android.mp3

On the album he's performed it slightly differently and with drum backing.

Apparently classical pianist Christopher O'Riley has done a version too which I'm now interested in hearing.

Have a listen and tell me what you think...

PS - I guess this would fit in the Music discussion thread but I didn't want to upset any trance puritans out there so i put it in the chaos that is COR

I think there are a lot of people on TA that like Radiohead so I don't see why it couldn't have gone into the MD forum, but I completely understand your reasoning. Thank you for posting this. :thepirate

Brad did a cover of radioheads exit music as well.

Some string quartet also did a bunch of covers, they were very well done.

well i had a listen to the sample (like the first 5 secs coz of dial up :whip: ) and i thuoght it was pretty good. Sounded dark. Tho i sure the piano was gonna get a lot better, i got a song here that's nice (non-trance) if you would care to listen. Plus the singers voice is beautiful. (And she plays the piano too)
