what a fukd way to begin the week....
bought a weekly ticket on sunday, went to validate it and bang, nothing happened, it said retry.. so i couldnt validate it, it didnt give me an expiry or anything...
so okay, i thought well ill deal with it on monday.. left this morning in a rush.. got to parliament and realised i forgot my ticket.. went straight up to the girl at the 'ill let you pass go if you satisfy my criteria gate' and said, look i didnt get a chance to buy my ticket because i was running late for my train, can i pls. just go and buy one now on the other side>?
her reply - "you'll have to go talk to sam.. (points to some dumb fcuk moron on the other side of those gates)"
walked over to sam..
"gday sam.. the girl there told me to come speak to you.. i didnt get a chance to buy my ticket as i was running up the platform to catch my train, can ijust grab one here.."
"well ill need to see your id, because ill ahve to report this..."
"why, all i wanan do is just buy a ticket here.. cant you give me some leniancy please?"
"i have a job to do.. so ill need some id.."
"fine sam.. here it is.. "
(writes down information) "so whats your reason for not having a ticket?"
"i just fukn told you.. i couldnt buy one because i was runnign late, thats why i want to buy one here"
"thank you ill write that down now.. you may receive a fine.."
"like fcuk i MIGHT receive a fine.. you know i will.. why couldnt you have used a bit of common sense.. i mean different situations call for different measures samuel... for fuk sake just give me my id back and have a nice day you ****.."

looked like he had just walked out of Bass Station in phat pants! im

I actually took this photo at the station opposite my workplace last december. The train that I was supposed to catch didn't come, and then this huge ass tree fell onto the track. Worst thing was that the attendant didn't make any announcement, so people were standing around wondering "wtf!".
He didn't communicate to central control or whoever to switch the incoming train onto another track. Idiot. So then the train pulls up behind the tree 15 mins later, and is stuck there for who knows how long. I had already called a friend and was picked up and on my way by then. |

nah that was after work. i was on my way to a dinner that night.
served me right for thinking that it'd be quicker and more convenient going by train. the train into work in the morning was delayed also. |
