what do you mean i have been playing that track since g&d put it out last october...oh yeah and then sander played it at space in november and it now goes down as one of my omfg club experience tracks...i love it and it ing owns...:crazy: :crazy:

right on! see the sig. i put that there this weekend.
it will also be on my upcoming demo cd. but i guess i won't be playing it at the party since arturo called shotty on it :p
edit: oh and gainsville is a town, not a city :D |

RzO and any other TAs worried about the same thing:
1) Paying 60 dollars to get into a club and 12 dollars per drink is no better than going to a Strip-Hop club. All you are doing is promoting the idea that money = talent and that is FAR from the case.
2) If you like it like that because it isn't as "frowned upon" then you have forgotten the roots of Trance and in fact most EDM. You like it cus it's mainstream? wtf?
3) My parties are completely legal. The people that bring the candy and the glowsticks and all the bull that is present at "raves" that you speak of would have their asses kicked by my crew if they acted like that.
4) There will be 3 sperate rooms. One will be DnB ALL NIGHT. One will be TripHop/Downtempo ALL NIGHT and the other will have only ONE breaks DJ and then have Trance and House ALL NIGHT LONG! Dan has 3 of his own HOUSE nights in Jax and Anji is one of the best Trance DJs I've ever heard NOT from Miami! By my count we will have AT LEAST 6 hours of House and Trance...and yes, this room will have THE BEST SOUND AND LIGHTING!! Oh, and Steve hasn't been a resident at Simon's for 10 years cus he plays ty breaks!
Anyone got anything else? :D
And please don't take my responses as being defensive or offended because I am not at all. Belive me, eveything you guys say about Gainesville could not be more TRUE, but that doesn't mean it always has to be that way! The parties I've thrown in the last month have had more people attend than anything I've seen in Gainesville EDM scene for years and a vibe you wouldn't believe. I can't say anything to convince you guys other than you'll have to see it with your own eyes before you make up your mind.
Damn...I hope this party goes off like the last ones have after all this talk! lol! :D |

werd...but i do still believe that money does equal talent in some cases but not all... and its not about it being mainstream that its about the people going and the venues...anyway im sure the party will be off the chain...there was no wierdness i just wanted to clear up the earlier post so u didn't think he was bashing ur party...anyway thats phat if one of the rooms can stay house/trance...we will come and rock out all ing night...arturo alreaady has some sick tracks and i know james does as well...as for chadwick..i know steve and think he is mad cool ...anyway see u at the party piece...RzO... :D :D :crazy: :toocool: |

Money far from equals talent. Money is for the talent that has been found and recognized. For every millionaire musician that you pay 60 bucks to go see there are 10 people that could outplay him that none of us will ever hear. And I know you guys have heard that a hundred times and it seems lame by now but whatever. If you will willingly pay the drink prices in Miami and then gloat about them and say that is what you like then you need to hear all that tired bull again.
And I took no offense from any posts on here, as I hope you take no offense to mine. Like I said I know exactly where he was coming from with the Gainesville thing. I agree 100%. This town has sucked ASS for the past 6-8 years. But what has been is not what will always be, unless the popular people say it is. :rolleyes:
On that note I will say no more. Only that there will be at least 6 hours of house and trance and that if the room is packed with people dancing to house it will go on much longer than that!
