Promoting local DJs in a new way
View this Thread in Original format

Well i have built up a huge live sets collection over the years, which is now over 100 gigs strong!

A lot of people downloading from me, ask me for recommendation on what djs are good and which live sets. I want to start promoting local Toronto DJs, rather than saying the usual big names.

My question is, would some of you local DJs be ok with me sharing your mixes(which i download here) on soulseek or other p2p programs?

i think this is a good way of getting some international exposure you normally would not get.

any thoughts, comments, concerns? (all welcome)

As far as I am converned you may share away on the p2p. Its all freely posted anyway.

I am up for that as well. That would be excellent. Thank you :)

that is so nice of you!

i don't think they will have any problems with that since they already share the mixes on TA.

i have a bunch of sets too and i will start doing the same.

Im Basically going to make a special folder "local Toronto DJs" in addition to all my other folders, and just start populating it with sets that i like,

mossey was the first TO dj i started sharing.
