PAUL VAN DYK (Vandit/Mute Records – Berlin, Germany)

Spinning a 3 hour set

One of the world’s DJ elite, PVD consistently ranks among the world’s top five DJs every year, in magazines such as Mixmag, Muzik, Ministry of Sound, and DJ Magazine. Van Dyk is a regular at the finest venues in locales such as Singapore, Tel Aviv, Mexico, and throughout Europe; including super-clubs Twilo in New York, Gatecrasher in London, and Berlin’s E – Werk. He has remixed tracks for an array of diverse artists such as Inspiral Carpets, Sven Väth, BT, U2, and New Order. His own "Seven Ways" full-length release catapulted him onto the global DJ circuit, as it was voted Album of the Year in DJ Magazine, reaching commercial success around the world. Van Dyk has founded a new label, Vandit, to release his own tracks, and to help develop new artists. Paul’s most recent Vandit release is the "Columbia EP".

SCOTT HENRY (Buzz, Ultra Records, DC)

DJ. Promoter. Father figure. Trendsetter. Scott Henry is all of these things and much more. for the man who describes himself as "just some guy from DC", he certainly has crept and leapt his way into DJ stardom from coast to coast, packing one-offs and clubs wherever he appears. Starting his career in small Baltimore clubs, he then went on to promote tow of the most respected parties in the country. Fever (now defunct), and Buzz, which is perhaps now the highest rated club in the US. Aside from a continued presence as a touring DJ, Scott' has signed to Ultraworld records to bring his mixing skills and music to all those who want to hear. Look for his latest,
entitled "the Politics of Sound".

ICEY (Zone Records, FFRR Recordings, Florida)

DJ Icey has established himself as "The King of the Funky Breaks". His spinning career got into full gear with his residency at the now defunct club The Edge and he used that time to pioneer funky breaks and launch his remix/producer career. He has produced a multitude of original tracks on his own label "Zone Records" and is stepping into worldwide status with this summer's release of "Essential Mix -Mixed by DJ ICEY". He began his touring DJ career at Ultraworld's Sunrise Festival in 1994 and he is always a welcome addition to our lineups.

DAVID DURIEZ (Brique Rogue / 20/20 Vision, France)

The founder of Brique Rogue records, David Duriez is one of France’s most prolific producers and DJs. His distinct blend of deep techno and soulful house can be heard on labels such as Large, Stickman, Afterhours, F-Communication, 20/20 Vision, and his own Brique Rogue. Duriez has toured the globe, playing the smallest lounges to the largest festivals. His recent inspired set at Sonar in Baltimore led him to a feature slot at Radiate. Be sure not to miss this one.
