i went to mexico over new years... i had a couple mp3 CDs, sasha was key ...i had an older mix of his from Lunapark, Beunos Aires I couldn't get enough of. i'd say go with prog house. and i also had a couple of the TA corentin's ambient mixes. i was set... the music, the beach, the sunrise, the latina women :D ;) not to mention the club i was staying at had a discotech and i got to mix for a little bit there!

Wow, awesome, must have had a blast:)
OurManFlint
Antoine Clamaran Presents Kash-Tropical Sax
Olav Basoski-Water Fire Rhythm Love EP 2

...and a couple other tunes like these kind of give me a warm feeling. If you like funky house with a tropical tribal sound with various types of horns, get these tracks or similar.

it is always a great time in mexico. only thing was i didn't have any vinyl with me (of course) so it was all from CD's. did you say you are going to cancun? i go every year there either to cancun (mainland) or cozumel (island right off the coast by cancun). and the women.. :wtf: no, i'm not talking about the trashy girls that come down from the states to get drunk, i'm talking about the latina women of the area... yeeesh! its a plus if you are affluent in spanish :eyespop:

If you're into Deep House at all, Marques Wyatt -- Sound Design Vol. 1 is pretty damn good and latinish.

I bet Involver would be pretty sweet @ sunset too though.
