ok. southwest airline's slogan is "low airfare and cheap entertainment"
the low airfare is pretty obivious but i am starting to grasp the concept of the cheap entertainment:
i have flown SWA b4 with few celebrities, wwwrestler-hulk hogan and ted danson of the cheers. they all look pretty funny in person,lol :p
anyway, i stood in line yesterday at oakland airport and i turned around there was paul oakenfold:haha: :haha: jokenfold in person is so ugly
first thought was that oakie was a cheap bastard to fly SWA.
second thought was wtf is oakie doing in oakland and flying to l.a. via vegas??
it's was fun trip all the way coz i was listening to oakie's EM Goa Trance:toothless |

Oakey played at a Tsunami benefit Thursday night. He flew himself, played for free, and all. And this was all firmly setup less than week before the actual event. It was probably a late notice thing so he ended up having to take some funky route.
The event raised like $30,000+, all of which goes to Tsunami aid. Not too shabby.

SWA sucks...
fly an airline with some actual customer service and direct flights w/ leather seats. Plus Cattle call boarding is just so demoralizing. Yeah...Fly Alaska...or their fine sister carrier, Horizon...they have free booze...
(ok...so i'm biased cuz I fly for em...so support my job dammit...)
...and we fly celebs and athletes all the time.... |

| I work for TSA (Transportation Security Administration) here in Santa Barbara...which would explain my disappearance from the clubbing scene (I'll be back guys I promise!)...anyways, so far I have seen Britney Spears, Qbert, and Gene Ferris. Britney is U-G-L-Y in person. The right make-up, clothes, and lighting can make a HUGE difference. LOL. I talked to Gene Ferris (house DJ) for like 20 minutes. He was a really cool guy. Anyways, thats my lil tidbit. Catch y'all later. |
