Hitting stores at the end of this month is the 25th release on the high-quality J00F Label. This one's a double sider from M.I.K.E. under the "E-Tronic" Guise.
The Glass House
Nice track, would be a good set builder, nothing amazing, slightly dark and eerie with a very simple repeating melody. Does a good job for what it is, but nothing really anthemy in it, so if you're more of a fan of his 'Push' guise than others, you might not appreciate it as much. Starting to grow on me atm - 7/10
Switch On
Simplicity is again the key here. The track kinda is like Silverbath if you remove a lot of the great percs in that one and allow it to build for a longer period of time. nowhere near the overall finish in that track but it does flow nicely and is one of the better tracks I've heard from this guy in the last 18 months or so. 7/10
Nothing majorly euphoric but works for what it is |

they're not a patch on stuff like magic impuls & silverbath but they're relatively decent |

that's exactly how I feel about it :) it lacks in originality and doesn't really have that bit extra too give you major goosebumps but, ... it ain't all that bad either ;)
6.5/10

yeah, it's almost like a track missing an extra lead or two, but I could see myself building a set with it, just not peak hour tunage |

Quite a decent release. I prefer Glasshouse over the two.
However, this is of not the same caliber as some of the other JOOF releases. |
