the last 2 years have not been all that interesting so I hope this is going to be something 'new'

his style is original, but after a few albums that sound basically the same it ain't that original anymore

You're right about that, his older works are more interesting than the ones he has put out over the past few years but he still has managed to stay way above average anyway and not dropping down to the bottomless hole of total boredom.

No, sorry... Indeed, it wasn't released until a while ago;) I kinda like the samples, but I'm not lo-fi/IDM-nerdish enough to go buy it.

I don't have much of an idea how creative or innovative these two new releases are by Richard's standards, but whenever he starts tinkering with the 303 I seem to end up liking the results quite a lot. I like Grumpy Acid (rapidly twitching acid workout) and Bwoon Dub (dubby acid goodness) the most judging from the samples.

I completely second that :) And maybe he's going to suprise us with new stuff, as he always used to do ;)

and you may like it, or you don't, ... but one thing u could never say is that his music isn't "creative and innovative" LOL :toothless

analord 02 sounds really nice judging by the samples, might pick it up

I must say that I like the samples. (after taking a closer look at them) I remember what used to be the standard in the previous AFX-releases. They were more on the raw/"let the machines speak"-side. This release is actually pretty quality and agreable.

Dunno, might aswell pick it up:D
