Oh don't get me wrong, the Thrill Seeker set was insane and I loved it but what I remember the most that night is getting there and thinking, "damn, who is this girl DJ, she is laying it down hard!"

I remember being in the balcony and singing, "take me home... in time you'll love me, like one of your own" to my buddy Paul after which he promptly punched me in the gut...hehehe

Haha...yeah but I preffered her set @ Cosmic Gate....

James Holden - Nothing (93 returning Mix) en made my night...

ooops..you're right. It was the cosmic gate night that I heard her, not Thrill Seekers.

I'm just really happy I found that club. I kind of gave up on the LA trance scene a while ago and I figured that this venue would be like ghetto Orion. And as much as I love the music, if it came down to that venue, I'd pass -- which just leaves me with big events only. Instead Heaven is clean, not downtown, the people are awesome, it is all trance and everything is really kick back (even the door people are cool!). I love that place and everyone who I've brought to it does as well. :tongue2 I just hope that it is making enough money to keep the owners interested and motivated because I would hate to see it go anywhere soon.

Dude...the scene is getting better and better...in part because of heaven but I think just cause more people are discovering the music and actually getting into it...thats what LA needs is more hardcore fans...who will demand good talent.

I love Heaven too and I hope it doesnt turn 21+ before I turn 21.. :p

Dang, I wouldn't have guessed you were so young!

Were you around for golden age of raves? Outdoor massives? 98/99? Like JuJu Beats and Nocturnal (before it went to )? When you actually had a 10k + crowd with talent like oakie or PVD?:eyespop:
Krister
Then again, if I had to choose a time to be 20 (then or now), I would choose now. The music has evolved so much since then and I think the community has tightened up -- nothing but true trance heads at Heaven.
