Some vinyl prices are just ludacris so it would make a lot more sence for DJs and EDM fans alike to be able to purchase songs in MP3 format.

Ludacris is a rapper. The word you're looking for is ludicrous.

sorry, it looked to me like you were complaining about vinyl prices and having to pay for a mp3, so you would rather just leech.

See what rap does to the youth of today :(

Maybe if the format read .wav instead of .mp3, I might consider.

Maybe if I could get ANY dance music tune I want digitally in .wav format including releases on ANY and ALL labels, I might consider.

Maybe if I could get ANY dance music tune I want as a properly mastered cd single including releases on ANY and ALL labels, I might consider.

Until then, vinyls all the way.

well, i remember talking to dave dresden asking him when they were releaseing their remix of sarah mclachlan fallen, and he said (something along these lines) "she has no interest in having it released, and you wonder why kids download music?"

ok, i understand that if they release on mp3 too the risk of vinyl starting to disappear increases, but apart from that it shouldn't bother you? :conf:

hahaha then why are you on the hub?

its all very well having JUST vinyls, but sooner or later you may want to play something on an Ipod for example when your working away, or travelling. Lugging Decks around is hardly viable, so downloads are versaitle and suit the situation.

it's still beyond me why most of you can't comprehend the fact that most Psychadelic, Goa, and Prog-Psy (along with some Prog. Trance) has always been and is still contemporarily released on CDs only. That's not to say that i deem all vinyl should be ripped onto MP3s as well, rather i'm just stating a fact.
