Hi guys,
Recently I do not what actually happen to my routing.
For my Roland JP8000/ Yamaha CS6X, I plug my midi to my midi interface. and my audio cable to my mixer then to my soundcard.
Somehow, it used to work well last time till recently something really gone haywire and i hope some of you are able to guide me thru.
As Im doing my production work on the Cubase SX2, I had my syth on and I play. And at the same time, after drawing the midi notes on my Cubase SX2, I wanna record the sound to my Cubase SX2.0 I open Audio track, enable the record button. And when I play back, no signal was found to my audio (which I wan to record on).
Meaning to say, there are absolutely no SIGNAL go to the AUDIO Track at all when I playback from Cubase of my MIDI Channel. THere are only sound from the syth on my MIDI channel but just simply cant record as wav on the audio channel.
Anyone?? It just happen like that and Im kinda lost. I put to Channel ANY, MIDI 1 ... all seem the same to me.. not working at all... :( |

hmm, can you confirm that the audio is actually being picked up by your computer? have you checked the line levels ? have you tried recording alone in a sound editor? |

I can record the audio from my turntable to another program, Samplitude.
Had no problem on that. Just kept wondering what can goes wrong with the routing.. is there something which I never click at all.... |

Well for me to record audio I have to make a channel in my mixer)virus audio in)then in cubase under vst connections, you can add inputs and outputs/stereo.
Make sure the audio input shows up in cubase. |
