| I have the AKG k240 Studio and i'm very happy with em. Be sure to break em in for ~100 hours. |

| the K501s are recommended much more for production. THe k240s, from my experience, under-emphasise mids and over-emphasise treble |

Yes, I agree. But nothing a little equalizer tweaking can't fix. I don't use the k240 Studio for production use, but rather just a very comfortable and great sounding general purpose headphone. |
