The shoe's officially coming out tomorrow...I wonder if it's only in the US though or are we included?
I'd like to see how much it is and where I can try it on :D |

I bet you won't notice a thing, much like the Nike Shox.
Salomon has a computer chip in one of its snowboards, and I dont think anyone can notice a difference between it and any other board out there. |

| What a dumb-ass idea. The shoe is likely more sensitive then your foot therefore the adjustment in "cushion" will make no difference to you the person. It is, however, a real nice way of marketing their product and overcharging us all. |

| Well actually you don't necessarily "need to feel" the difference...the difference will be that when you're 40 you might not have as many knee and foot problems from running a lot and such :)... It's not necessarily for "feel" I think...and yes it's fancy I agree :p |

By the time I'm old enough to feel stuff like that, I figure they will be able to replace any body parts that started aching.
Maybe I might get a robot body or something, that would be awesome  |

I had surgery on my right knee two years ago.... My ortho told me then that I would require a replacement joint by the time I was 50. I doubt a fancy shoe is going to prevent this. |

Well yeah but I'm still 100% healthy and if this would give me more cushioning, control, and proper protection then why not :)
*edit*
I run a lot lately, mostly treadmill, but once the weather gets better then i'll do that outside too...I would like to keep it all safe and injury free...if the shoe isn't overpriced to the wazoo then I'll definitely consider it...besides i'm an Adidas fan :p
By the way, it's coming out in Canada on March 31st :) just checked. (crap...forgot to ask how much it'll be...) |

If it's the same price as all the other shoes out there then why not but I'm sure it won't be. Kind of like how when Nike came out with the air pockets the raised the price of their shoes by 50%.
FYI, no shoe is going to protect you against overuse injuries of the knees and ankles unless it aborbed nearly all the impact, no shoe is capable of this(a very good mattress would be). The best you can expect from one shoe to the other is that it will be lighter, more stable, and absorbe some degree more shock all of which will decrease the amount of energy you need to expend. These shoes would be great for cross country long distant runners. |

Well basically this is what i'm expecting...and some other things...so if the price is right i'll consider it. I need new running shoes actually but I deliberately didn't buy anything yet cause I'm waiting to see this one. And quite frankly I'm really not impressed with the very uninspired design of running shoes lately. Nike which usually have really cool designs don't have anything really cool in their store lately...all kinda mediocre and boring. So, we'll see if the price is good on this one, and it's comfortable of course, i'll def consider it. |
