How do people feel about a tech-trance party in London?

If Comfort & Joy! productions were to throw an all-night, all-ages party in downtown London, with people playing progressive, uplifting, tech- and psy-trance ...
... how would people feel about that?
We're thinking the first or second week of December. We figure there's so little going on in London, especially for the underground scene ...

Definitely a great idea but may not be a great time slot. Western starts exams on the 8th until the 19th so it may be a problem for some, including myself and friends. Would prefer late November if at all possible.
There has only been one party that i've known of so far this semester and another would be awsome.
Goodluck putting it together and hopefully I can make it out. |

Generator: My friends and I are totally down w/ starting up a REAL underground scene here in London.. we have plans to throw an illegal hardcore party in the spring, w/ Dj Or-beat, Deacon Boombastardizer and hopefully the ever-lovable Dominik.
we'd even help you out, my friend (you might even know of him) Blake Sutherland would love to spin, so would my friends.. this could be sick!!
And for sure make it all ages, I'm sick of being left out of events cuz I'm 18. THat's bull, everyone should be able to enjoy the tunes.
So yeah, PM me dude, if you want to work something out..:)

Jonathan here now, answers for all:
tranced_out: umm, err, sorry we can't. We're both in law here at Western and gotta study for our own exams. :) We figure partying Dec. 1 gives everybody enough time to sort themselves out before getting into exams (start around the 8th).
LaurEE: see above, Dec. 1 is our first choice, Dec. 8 is more inconvenient for everyone, and we can't run it too close to X-mas 'cause we go away. heh
Vivid: there's going to be a licenced area. Those who wish to drink can do so happily! (I'll be there).
b.s.e.: not alone, but there's not many here, hehe. We throw psytrance/acid techno parties in TO, not much hardcore, but we heartily encourage illegal parties. We've had cops come by twice and they left happy both time, we're pleased to say.
As far as this party goes, we're happy to say it will be all ages, no worries there!
Now this party is going to be some nice new music - you ain't gonna hear it anywhere else. Pharmakon just came back from EU with a crateful of nice psy, got me into it superquick and we'll be laying down stuff that just isn't brought to this side of the ocean. Come enjoy!
There'll be fresh fruit in the morning, as much psychedelic decor as we can put together, fantastic music that knocks us up hard, and a super-tight (C&J! style) vibe that'll show London what for. Why should TO get the glory anyhow?
So tell your friends and drag 'em out (exams can wait - study before and after!). If this goes well, it's a new monthly in London for the underground scene ... :)

Our apologies - we would have preferred the 1st as well, but we recently lost it and had to settle for the 8th.
For anybody about to retort something about exams, yes - we know. We have them too. :( I have one two days later, trust me ... heh.
Anyway we're hoping people will be very flexible in order to come to this new party - it's going to rock hard whatever we have to do to make that happen. If you have an exam the next week, just study in advance. And frankly, who was going to study Saturday night anyway? :)
