Just wondering if anyone here is familiar with DJ Steve Angello ? He's playing at a local event in Canada, and I'm just wondering if I should bother going or not! Apparently he is from Sweden. If so, is he any good? Worth seeing?

I like some of his productions.. never heard him spin tho..
But you'd better like house if you're going to see him at least :p

Yeah, not a huge fan of house! I keep changing my mind, but in the end, most of my friends who I drag along to these events much prefer trance over house, so it'll probably end up being a no-go. Thanks for the info Jeremy! :)

Well as said before. If you like house you just have to go, he releases tunes and remixes all the time so I guess he can spinn aswell

I've seen Steve Angello play B2B at "Swedish Music Convention 2004" with Flex & Sebastian Ingrosso.. I'm not a real house fan but that set was awsome, dunno if Angello plays like that when he plays alone.
Dunno who's who here... pic from SMC04

Hey Steve,
Cool pic! It's trippy how the guy on the lefts face is projected out to the right in red...neat effect. Looks like if I do go, at least he'll provide some eye candy. ;) |

Yea...I must say that you dont need to be a big house fan to listen to Angello, couse he plays nearly to the edge of techno sometimes...!!
