Allen & Heath Xone 92 or Xone 62

almost the same display....effects are not the same

2 filters on each

very easy to use
killer sound
the Xone v6 is nice to but not any club can affort a 10 grand mixer

If I had to pick what the next replacement mixer it would be, it would be the new DJM1000 or maybe another DJM they bring out, simply for the fact its a Pioneer and they will give them to the high end clubs for free.

i'm going to stop you right there
unless your name is digweed or van buuren it's highly doubtful you'll make any significant money in a short amount of time

it's great as a hobby and a side gig, but always have a good job/backup plan as your main source of income

unless you have a couple residencies that combine to make up a good income, but then if you're playing out that much, most of that money is being re-invested back into records

One question yet: Has anyone found what could emerge as the new "standard" mixer for clubs?

Thanks all, Cheers,

RJT (Patiently waiting for his new DJM 500...)

here in NYC its the Rane Rotary. Almost every big club has it as their main mixer, or at least an optional one.

I would love to see the Xone 92 popping up in club booths, but right now the Rane seems to be the mixer of choice.

And 'round here, the Rane rotary is king. Stick with your DJM500 if you like it.

You should not have rushed into buying another DJM because accidents happen, but they are a great oppertunity to upgrade. I had a major house fire over the summer where I lost everything but my records, and so I did a lot of research and found the best deals on the newest stuff.

If I were you, I would now stick with the DJM because, honestly, you've already bought and unless you're up for going through eBay again and possibly losing money, reselling is a pain in the ass.
