Equalizer in Winamp/WinMedia

hey all wondering your opinions on which equalizer preset in Winamp and or WinMedia you use (or do you set up your own) when listening to trance on your computer
personally i find that the techno setting generally works but maybe it is time they started puttin a default trance one in! |

really depends on your setup / soundcard, pick whatever sounds best...as a general rule dont double equalize .....ie winamp and your stereos both on.
if you want to use your stereos keep winamp on flat. |

I like the 'techno' setting also, bumping up the midrange freq's a little bit. Its a personal preference, but I use this:
trance/prog: low and high range up, mid range a bit down
techno/house: low and high range even, mid range up
jungle: low and mid range up, high range a bit down |

my advice would be to just set up your own..just play around with it, until your ears like what they hear |

i use this plugin for winamp
Enhancer 0.17
turn on the power and boost button. and select techno or something like that from the presets.
its the best plugin to make ur trance sound allllot better |

I use flat equalizer with Enhancer 0.15.
I find Enhancer 0.15 sound much better then 0.17. I think It was best enhancer ever made. With right settings sounds perfect on head phones, 15 year old sound system, or new Yamaha Home Theatre. I wish I could use it in the car on my deck. |

I guess it would really depend on how things are setup. You know, what kind of speakers you have, amplifier etc...
Personally, I have a custom setting. |
