one question, can u still dj with these in your ears? or are they only for when u go to clubs to watch someone else?

like I said, it depends on the headphones, a pair like senn-hd25s aren't very comfortable IMO...

But anything that covers your ear and doesn't put pressure on the ear itself should be fine..

Freak, what dB cut did u get?

-15

however, since wehn you first order a pair you have no way of trying them out to see what they are like, you can change the filter levels within the first month free of charge... so if -15 is not enough, i can switch to the -25s no problem

Has anyone tried these earplugs by any chance? I'm planning on picking some up for WMC. I'd get the nice ones like Freak, but money is a bit tight and I don't know where to find a good audiologist.

Would be really nice with custom earplugs.. But they're a bit expensive.. and Im sure i would loose them when drunk or something

getting mine next week,

seems like i'm not the only one who thinks it's a good idea,

spent far too much time infront of LOUD soundsystems, been an audio technician since i was quite young and can notice the hearing loss already,

it's one thing to destroy your hearing occasionaly at a big party, but when you are at 1-2 a weekend you start to notice the degredation pretty quick

Just got my pair today. I used them for my car stereo and it sounds fine. I'm going to try them on my headphones as soon as I get back home. And then maybe at a club this weekend. I'll keep everyone posted on how they are.

P.S. My regular hottie audiologist left and was replaced by an equally as cute audiologist. What's up with audiology that attracts the fine women?

mine not here yet- any day now

I once bought a pair of -25dB and now I think its too much so I don'T use them anymore.. The sound is not loud enough to really feel the magic in the music.

i'm waiting to save some money and buy the -15dB or the -9dB..

You should be able to just replace the filters for cheaper than what you paid for the total package.
