| i have alot of respect for lesbians, i happen to think i was a lesbian in a former life.... but i must admit i feel a bit odd when i see to guys making out, but i dont see it that often so i dont think i have been desensitized from it. you see weird everyday, but if you see the same weird all the time it doesnt seem so weird anymore... |

Its not a double standard at all, its just viewed much differently.
For instance its quite socially acceptable for 2 girls to kiss in public, even if they are not gay, bisexual, or otherwise. Then it's about ing time that stupid view is changed, because in theory, a two women kiss is just as homo as a two guy kiss. Like I said in the beginning, it feels like a matter of insecuryity.
Men seem to be afraid that they will "kicked out" if they do anything on each other, even if it's just for fun. Immediatley the gay stamp gets put in their face, rumors start spreading, and people start looking down on them just for a little more friendly hug or a kis on the cheek? |
