:wtf:
This is good . I'm listening to their Live at Supersonic Festival set from 2004. Most thumping techno I've ever heard, though slower than most (so far). Could this be classed as industrial techno, perhaps?
Also just checked their discogs profile, and noticed that Anthony Child is Surgeon's real name, who I've heard of before, though never checked out...
I need more stuff like this. Richie Hawtin's Maida Vale set from 10-03-04 is also amazing. Slow, evil and minding.
I'd like DJ/liveset suggestions, as individual tracks are useless to me. |

Thank you. ;) :stongue:
But really, if you're saying BMB are as accessible and "poppy" as AvB and Schulz... then I can only laugh. |

Sorry, but that is one of the most clueless statements I've seen on TA, and shows that you don't have much of a clue what techno is really about.
(Hint: if you decide to respond to this post by namedropping Chris Liebing, Sven Väth or Adam Beyer, then you are just proving my point)
On topic: As for BMB, Regis and Surgeon are definitely influenced by industrial vibes, although I can't really pinpoint any names apart from obvious groups such as Nitzer Ebb, Skinny Puppy and the works. For similar stuff, try their respective solo outings as well as stuff from James Ruskin. |
