Surprised noone's posted this:

Jerry Bonham, Sky in Austin, Friday Feb 18th.

Tickets are $10.
21 & up.

Bonham opened for PvD in September--he was good!

I'll be there.
Matthias
Seen this guy open for PvD 4 times...must say he's been quite an influence over the direction I took in progressive, among other artists. I will try to make it out, money's been tight so no promises :(

Will be in attendance for this show along with skye. Jerry Bonham did a very good job I must add on his set to open for Paul in September at Sky.

I just looked at groovetickets...it's been moved to Sky (the downstairs).

Also, Groovetickets is only selling VIP--but VIP is only $10, so I will just get that.

Awesome show, Jerry Bohnam threw down teh e for about 2 and a half hours. played that song that i wanted an ID for that Gabriel and Dresden played in Austin a couple of weeks ago> and the ID is

Zoot Woman - Grey Days (Paper Faces Mix)

i went up to the DJ boothe and asked Jerry myself. He is so phukin cool. Also threw down a NEW remix of

D:Fuse - Living The Dream (Matthew Dekay Mix) :eyes:

D:Fuse was dancing on the dancefloor and I saw him so i go up to him and ask "What is this bangin remix of living the dream" and he tells me its the Dekay test pressing and it will be out next month. I was like OMFG i am about to bust one on the dance floor it was that good. And the fact that i was "Rollin rollin rollin" Nevertheless, glad that sky held the event. Those lights and the screen can really phuk with you in a good way. Had a good time but drama for your baby mama occured at an afterparty. Apparently i wasnt welcome there and i could hear these people talking about me like i wasnt even there. Was really a bad way to mess with my roll. Phukin phukers. And i am such an nice guy I just wish i knew what the phuk i did to be not wanted. So skye, laura, and myself had to make the trip back to San Antonio all phuked up. All in all the event was great. I just wish i knew what i did to not be welcomed there.

no, i met these guys several times over the past year at sky and elememt. they are a group of people that are there for the music from what i can collect. I was talking to my friend martin in the living room, skye and laura were on the balcony, and people were scattered in the bedroom, kitchen, and bathroom. There was one guy that always strings and i guess i looked at him the wrong way or something that he put up his stix and everyone was like "That never happens" I overheard the girls talking about "we dont want that hispanic in the black shirt there" LOL i am german and hispanic, but it was me. Then i kept pretending to listen to martin talk while they continued to say that i wasnt welcomed there and that i pissed off that guy and that i was in a picture that i guess his girl/fiancee was in or something to that effect. Then they were talking if i heard them cause they looked and saw that i was right there in the living room with my back towards them. I kept playing it off to see whatelse they would say about me. They said "oh e he is right there, did he hear us. no he is talking to his friend." They were trying to figure out how i got there. The fact was my friend martin invited us and we followed in a train to get there. Finally skye and laura return from the balcony and i whispered into her ear, "WE need to get the phuk out of her, I am not welcomed here and those girls are talking about me like i am going out of style" I was rolling my balls off and it sucked because i thought individually that i was cool with all of them. But i guess not, so we said our goodbyes, got fake goodbyes from the girls and that guy and we treked back to San Antonio. I do tend to stare a lot and not say anything when i am rolling, maybe thats one reason that he didn't like me. Or that picture that i was supposedly in with his girl. Or maybe he just didnt like me period. But it sux when your enjoying yourself and that the boundries of P.L.U.R. are overstepped. I just wished that they would have not talked about me like that and just said that I was a problem to that guy so that it would be face to face instead of gossiping about me when i am in earslenght.

That's a shame about your bad experience.

I thought I saw you (at the back, near the speakers) at the show.

I personally didn't have that great a time at Bonham--just wasn't feeling it. The definite highlight was when Bonham dropped D:Fuse "living the Dream" with D:Fuse on the dance floor. The lowlight was when some guy grabbed my arm & tried to impress me by telling me who Jerry Bonham is. Me "Yes, I know who he is."

I'd gotten nervous & bought a VIP ticket for $10. VIP ticket means they gave me a drink ticket, which I turned into a $7.50 redbull & Absolut. So it was a good deal.

Met some people who are going to Miami for WMC, which made me jealous, as I'm not going after all this year.
