=) here's my Review:
First i think that the Lead sounds too muddy
and everything is way over loud
too bad i cant feel the bass in this one
your piano needs more EQ
Great melody u got there im sure with some improvments ull make it better...generally the whole mixing is blurry (sounds like alot of enhanching and compressing which makes it muddy)and synths are getting messy in the beat part of your track...
i suggest ull read some material that will help u improve your track
:p EQing is very important and u should stick to ot and REMEMBER , u wont be able to learn EQing in one day , im still Learning myself

Very loud, is the first thing I think. You should import the wav-file into Soundforge and fix it so the waves doesn't go over the top. Also, you have a lot of synths playing here. And most of them are playing at the same frequenzie-area, so it sounds very muddy.. Add some air into it. Don't play everything at the same time!! And a good tip: When you're choosing synths for a track, use synths with totally different sound. Because then they work much better together :cool: I have to say I like the bass-sound you've used in this one. And just because some songs sounds good with piano, not every track does. This doesn't :clown:
Keep it up though!! You are the fastest progressing person on this board atm, imo. I'm just waiting for your sound to improve!!! :whip: Take my tip: Get soundforge!!! And choose all your sounds very carefully! EQ them too so they all don't have the same frequenzie. |

Hey Joey
Have to be honest here, I don't really like this one.
The melody is nice enough, but I don't like the main synth, it sounds out of tune to me. Not too sure about the piano, like Alex said.
Still has plenty of potential I think though. |
