For anyone that doesnt know me that well i am currently studying for a degree in music production and i am working on an assignment which i am finding slightly difficult....
I have to write a heading for each of these AU/VST/RTAS/TDM/DIRCT-X/RE-WIRE/MAS and SOUNDFONT and write a definition of what they all do and how they differ.
Does anyone know any good sites for information about how these plug ins work and differ?
Ive already downloaded the logic 7 plug in reference manual.
Also i have to give examples of samplers, instruments, effects, emulators which im fine with. Although i am struggling to find information and examples of Analytical and intergrated systems?!?!
Any help with the above will be greatly appreciated.

Read quite a few books dude but i feel theres certain parts of my knowledge missing and things i dont quite understand.
Peoples opions on different types of of software may also come out here which is also valid for my research. |
