WHICH ORTOFON CARTRIDGE TO GET? (pg. 2)

The Nightclubs & Elektros sound the same, except the output level of the Elektros is much higher. ie while playing the same record, you'd have to boost the gain on the Nightclub channel to match the Elektro.
I currently own DJs, but when their life is up, I'm switching to Nightclubs or Elektros. |

| ive decided to get the DJs(Blue) instead and just change out the stylus later on with the Elektro(White)! Thanks everyone for the advice!:) |

| get the ortofon nightclubs spherical/elliptical for the sound if u have the money or the ortofon concorde gold for the looks. I currently have the shure whitelabels and comparing to the nightclubs they are heavier but the soundquality is better. |

I recently switched from the Shure Whitelabels to the Ortofon Elektros.
I used just about every cartridge setup and I feel the the ortofons track and sound the best. |

| I bought the headshell mount kit (this is the first time I used the stock Technic headshells). The electros were a little more than half the price of Shure Whitelabels. The Shures had excellent sound reproduction, my only fault with them was that they always skipped off the record when cueing-up (even if I increased the weight). |

| also got the elektro, which i was told is ace for its price...though i can't compare them to many other cartridges, they seem to serve me very well :) |
