Using Traktor to make Mixes - Please help !!!

I've recently discovered traktor program that allows u to make DJ Mixes, but i have a problem. When u beat match the songs using the sync tool the songs always scratch and make a bad sound. How do i beat match without using the sync button ? Do I use the pitch buttons ?
Any help would be appreciated.

I can't access my Traktor atm, but there should be "pitch bend" buttons somewhere near the sync buttons. You use those to slow down/speed up the track a little in order to get both records together...

You can also do this manually by braking and/or accelerating the songs using the pitch control to keep them in sync. Takes some practice but that's how it's done with real turntables. |
